Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Candidates must be Permanent Residents of Assam.
Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of January 1, 2023.
Age Relaxation: Varies by category (Ex-Servicemen: 2 years, OBC/MOBC: 3 years, SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years, PwD: 10 years).
Small Family Norms: Applicants with more than two living children after January 1, 2021, are ineligible per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms.
Medium of Instruction: Candidates must match the Language-I or Language-II of both ATET and CTET with the school’s medium of instruction.
Qualifications:
Assistant Teacher (LP): Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Assistant Teacher (UP): Graduate with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, B. Ed., D. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Ed. (Special Education).
Science Teacher (UP), Hindi Teacher (UP): Specific qualifications mentioned for each.
